Ron Ayers doesn't list the older Interceptors, only 1990 and newer.
Parts Fish has online fiche (get it ?) for the 1987 VFR700F2. Find your part number and plug it in at Service Honda, who will probably have the best price.
you guys rock! thank you so much! unfrotunatly from what i have been told my honda dealership here is a bit.... well lets say they don't like people verry much. they just want to sell you the bike and thats it. so thank you so much for your help! shah
The local dealerships were marking up parts to retail at least 30% higher than I could get them online. Most the time they were not even in stock so I would have to wait for them to order them from the Honda Warehouse. So I would pay more, have to wait, then have to drive back to the dealer to pick the parts up.
Forget that, I started ordering from Service Honda after ULEWZ recommended them to me for OEM parts cause they were much cheaper, shipping charges where just a smidge higher than city sales tax but overall cheaper than the dealer, still have to wait BUT IT COMES RIGHT TO YOU!! No more wasting a trip to the dealer to pick up parts.
I even screwed up an order, ordered 2 parts from service honda and it was completely my mistake, they wavied the 20% restocking fee cause the part was on backorder and fixed the whole order, good service good price. Recently the parts manager quit his job there so they are reeling a bit from that so they are having some difficulties managing but still came through for me. I cant speak highly enough about them I would recommend service honda for all your oem parts
Used them several times and they always had the best price on any part I needed compared to other online retailers. Good email communication and service.
Even had an issue where parts were on backorder and they shipped everything in two shipments so I could have the other parts as soon as possible.
but how about things like spark plugs, oil and filters? do you guys get that threw the net as well? and ahh hate to sound like a moron but how do you use that honda web page?
Here's a short list of discount mail-order genuine Honda parts dealers: Most have 800 numbers that you'll find on their websites. Some accomodate on-line ordering.
