twice now i've had my 04 vfr shut off on its own comming to a stop light with the clutch in. my bike never did this until i add the staintunes and the power commander. i know other people have talked about this problem but i did a search and nothing came up. anyone have any ideas i have the staintune map loaded in the pc but i'm thinking about going back to the stock map.

First off this IS a vfr thread so why is it posted here? Second read the error codes in the computer - refrence the post in the how to section maintence.

Mine died occassionaly between shifts as well. I do not know exactly your setup because mine is stock, but since I have switched the O2 sensor connections, mine has not died. Do you have the O2 elimns? Did your bike sit for a long period of time?(Stored properly - Stabil, etc.) Have you checked the starter valve sync? :wheel:

Is the bike warmed up or cold when it stalls on you? My 04 is stock and it has quit like that a time or two but if I recall correctly it wasn't warmed up completely. Good luck!

Sync your starter valves and that will go away - also refrence that how to in the maintence> how-To section.

I've got the same setup and it used to happen to me until I upped the idle. I need to sync my starter valves when I get the nerve up.
