VFR Discussion Group -> New member

Hola ya'll,

After hanging around in the shadows as a guest for the last couple weeks, I finally registered. With the informatioin you've provided via all the various forums, and the blessings of the wife "get whatever makes you happy baby," a new VFR is in my future. No doubt, VFRD is a wealth of knowledge and information. The posts I've read are informative and, no matter how extreme, never beyond the realm of sanity. Keep it up Ladies and Gents. Hope to see you soon...on the road.

Welcome to the site, by the way, where are you from?

Welcome to the forum. I hung around for almost a year and became a VFRD addict before I even bought my bike--which I did last Nov. The people here are great, and the advice is rich. The VFR is a fantastic bike, enjoy yours when the time comes.

As to where I'm from, well I call the Houston area home now. Originally from Redondo Beach, CA. But, and thats a big but, I'm currently OCONUS. In the lovely International Zone-Baghdad, Iraq. Will be home soon though, and at the dealership shortly after. :thumbsup:

Carlos, welcome. The VFR is a great bike...you'll enjoy it. As for Iraq, just stay safe. My brother in law just got back from Camp Anaconda near Balad after a year away. Keep up the good work over there, we're all proud of what you're doing and what you're going through.
