:pissed: This is my second flat tire on this bike (small nail)....do these VFR's attract nails or something? Just mounted 208's about a month ago too.........has anybody ever used fix a flat? I'll probably just end up buying a new rear tire. Gosh this is getting expensive :(
I have patched tires and ridden them till they wore out. Depends on where the nail is though, sidewalls is a loss. Rear tires I am more likely to ride on than a front.
I am not sure if it was a poll or not, but I seem to remember that a signifigant number of folks here would ride with a patched tire, especially the rear as HS indicated. Can't recall an exact percentage, but seems to me it may have been 40% or better. (well, I want to believe that it was that high):rolleyes:
Check the warranty with Avon. I'm running Azaros and was told if I had a flat they'd give me a new tire.
