Hi Whylee asked me to post some pictures of his bike after painting. With the new way HS has it implimented I can only post a link to his pictures. So Please go look and see how nice his bike turned out.
The color is just smashing, but I wonder how he likes the forks (RC51?). I hear blue is a faster color, but tends to make the owners a little cranky. :P Yes, that was levity. :salesman:
Yes those are RC51 forks, I really like the looks now but im still trying to adjust them. The weather is getting better now so I can ride more. The rims were silver and I didnt like them at all. It does seem to run a couple degrees cooler around town since I removed the front turn signals to let more air flow in around the radiators. All in all im happy with how its turned out so far, I just have a couple more items to aquire (maybe next winter) I just want to get some riding in this summer. I would like to thank Blue Viffer for posting them for me.
Looked again, black rims do look pretty good with that colour. I didn't mean the pimped out chrome wheels just the titanium sorts that come on the 2005's.
Also like the removed front signals. Are the replacements only for side viewing or can they be seen from the front?
Such a perfect paint job, why the sticker on the side of the tank...........that's not good.
You can see the turn signals from the front, those are not stickers on the tank. They are magnetic, I use them to protect the tank from scratchs from my knees rubbing there. Using the smaller front turn sinals makes the signals blink really fast, I think it stands out more now. At night with the blue gauges relecting off the tank it looks really cool. I also put on a geenish tire fly on the front just for night riding, if someone doesnt notice that they are pretty blind.
