Hello all,

Looks like a great forum.

Yesterday I began the purchase process on a 2003 Silver VFR, non-ABS. I also have a 1997 Suzuki Katana 600, that I actually just sold via verbal agreement today(supposed to deliver bike to buyer in a couple of days).

So I wanted something that I'd "love," but wanted something with the qualities I like about the Kat, such as sport, but more comfortable, little heavier for the highway, ect. After constantly browsing online, I couldn't find another bike I wanted, and became pretty obsessed with the VFR! (and I'm aware HOW much better of a bike this is than the Kat).

So there was only a handful around in my area used(and didn't want to deal with shipping a bike/buying unseen), most were red, which I didn't want. So I'm pretty psyched, and the person I'm buying it off of is a freak when it comes to maintainance. 5K miles, 5 oil changes already.

Anyway, I look foward to mixing it up with you all... :wheel:

Thanks for the welcome. And even though I haven't done a top speed comparison of the two, I got the silver because I heard it was MUCH faster than "arrest me red."
