Do you need to cut anything to fit it? How easy is it to fit?

I'll post pics when done and let you know how it went. Started on it tonite and stopped. The wires, and there is 16 of them total do not plug and play in to factory harness sad.gif Not sure what I'll do, cut the FSD and factory splice together or cut just OEM and splice connectors to fit FSD's ? Seems last option is the way to go, got to be able to unplug wires in case I need to remove the tail. Dammit, I hate wiring crap, give me rod bolts, piston rings, engine oil, anything but electrical stuff.

Cost was ~ $269 in black, not painted, you can get black or white w/o paint or add another $90 for factory paint, and LED lites and with shipping. $$269 total on mine.

I will I promise, wiring is a mess, can't find connectors that fit. Will try at work this week or just cut FSD and OEM ones and splice them together. Where's my bud Spetsnaz ? Out riding that stupid VRod I think. Gotta be done right, last thing I want is an electrical short and catch my ass on fire.

Agreed, bunch of crap, or at least come with the adapters dammit. FSD will hear from me on that tomorrow for sure. Cutting off the OEM connectors is not a pretty option but...

That really sucks about the connectors, scoot. When you cut the factory connectors off, just make sure you leave enough wire on the connector side to reattach them later if you choose to go back to stock. Oh yeah, don't lose the factory plugs...

They are LEDS very little draw,I wuill also get "flasher" when you use the brake lights will flash constantly.

I hear that. I managed to find one that also doesn't, just says Progrip. I was lucky as the store had both of them and I happened to notice they did, only reason I bought mine. What do you all make of this BTW ? Anyone seen this kinda of wear ? A CBR bud, Res, tells me I need a stickier tire, spinning too much ? I don't know, never feel it spin. I still have chicken strips as you can see (Still waiting in ULewz to point that out goofy.gif ) but I do accelerate hard, WOT, easy on brakes and really only use front lever, could that be adding to this problem I wonder ? Tire has about 2,800 miles, 1st Z6 did the samething as did M1's and Z4's, all less than 3K miles. Oh, I also do lots of triple digit running, lots.
