veefer800canuck, Nov 22 2005, 06:29 PMI haven't seen THIS before:
Radical! I double-checked with a pic of a Vtec, they do look like a bolt-in mod. They are lying the 'wrong' way in the pics, if they were standing with the small lamp above the big one they start to look like Vtec lamps.
Have asked the seller for more information inc. who makes them.

Well, I got my reply:
Hi
these are honda genuine standard headlights for the vfr800 v tech models 2002 onwards
regards jedi
Right... so I was then left wondering whether these headlights will be OEM in the '06 Vtec? Nope, it still has reflector headlights.
I just checked the listing - seller has ended it early due to 'an error in the listing'. And currently has no other listings on ebay.
Quite the mystery eh?...
Interesting...
Those look pretty "sick" as the kids call it these days. Too bad they weren't on a bike. Are those HIDs?

Wow ! Pretty slick as us old guys would or still do say smile.gif
Um... those don't appear to be VFR headlights. Maybe it's just the picture, but the "top" edge on the sixth gen has more angles in it's circumference, and what about the part that wraps around the bottom? Me thinks another e-bay seller has no idea what he's selling.
Note how he says Xenon STYLE headlights.
Sounds like standard H4 bulbs but in a crappy reflector.

My guess is that they are scooter headlights! goofy.gif
And I reckon they'd go into a Vtec upper fairing without too much work - hell, I've made a Yamaha projector headlight work on my Gen 4 fing02.gif
