Was looking around for some goodies for my VFR and came across these. Wouldn't be wonderfull to have a set of legs like these.

Saw a new set of RC-51 Ohlins forks go for around $1600 a few weeks ago. My credit cards ran of yelping when I found them

Actually considered a set of used Ohlins Superbike forks before I got the 'regular' Road and Track forks, but I thought the idea of rebuilding the forks multiple times per riding season was a little much.

Per an Ohlins dealer I spoke with, the new R/T forks ('new' being ~'04-up) have the same valving as the 'superbike' forks and are a much better option for street/trackday use, providing performance indistinguishable from the s/b forks by mere mortals & requiring far less $ervice.

I just wish I had known about the impending change before I coughed-up for my 'regular old' R/T's for my RC in late '03! dry.gif
