I looked at Mcycle ramps and was not happy with the selection vs $ cost.
I went to the local scrap yard and found the ideal ramp. I picked up some
mangled guard rail ( thanx cagers ) about 8 foot long and it cost me $10.00
i then bought the non slip sheeting for stairs and applied it to center of the rail.
I made brackets out of heavy angle iron ,top and bottom for groud, tail gate
so ramp would not slide... total cost $38.00 . I made one for a friend and he uses it at his motorcycle shop when picking
up bikes for customers...
I see many of the members are thinkers and some are stinkers LOL j/k..
Really easy to make and cheap, can even paint it any color aspecially to
cover " property of state of illinois".....
