driggs, Dec 29 2005, 03:57 PM[image: user posted image]what you think about the graphics?

I'm not a big fan of graphics and have pulled off anything that I could on my '02. That said, yours are nicely done without being overdone. fing02.gif

Nicely done. Understated and classy. I'm not big on graphics either, but me likey.

I'm am kinda interested in this from http://www.cyclegraphics.com/index.shtml ....it's sorta nice because it can be peeled and reinstalled over and over or moved around...it's that no-adhesive"static clingy" vinyl stuff. Might be fun and it's not permanent by any means. They have all sorts of stuff....American flags for 4th of July, flaming 8-balls, skulls fing02.gif , etc. So, you might find something fun and harmless for when you get that wild hair........

NO WAY DUDE. YOU NEED LIKE BIG FLAMING SKULLS, A BIG MEAN DRAGON, EIGHT BALLS, SNAKES AND SHIT LIKE THAT, AND PUT A WIZARD IN THERE SOMEWHERE!! goofy.gif
But seriously, the checkers look great! I think I'm with the majority, in believing that most graphics look flashy, gawdy etc... But that bike looks GREAT.

I agree with the others; I'm not a big fan of afermarket graphics or stickers of any kind at all, but that setup is the most tasteful I've seen in awhile.

For me oryginal factory painting is much better. I do not like aftermarket stickers also.

Tastefully done, not to little, not to much fing02.gif

But as long as we're voicing opinions here, I'd maybe replace the "HONDA" lettering on the far bottom with OEM looking decals, in Honda's original font style. They can be had for around $12 or so for a pair.

I like it although I don't like most graphics. Where did you get from or is it a photoshop prototype thing right now? I think on any other color I wouldn't like them though, it just looks as though it works really well with the grey scale paint! I'm also not a fan of that color really but with those graphics it really make the bike pop. Maybe Honda should add them to the acc. list!!! HAHA But then nobody would like them as much probably!

I just looked again at driggs bike with his graphics....DAY-UMMM that's nice looking!
#13
they look nice.i also like some japanese letters on a vfr.

thanks for the compliments, its not photoshop, im not sure where i got the checkers but i had the honda part made for about 15.00 bucks, theres really not much money invested in them,

Your other bike is awfully sweet.

If you have to cover paint with stickers then it's a pretty nice looking job.

I once saw a picture of a black one with black carbon pipes too, very cool. You already have the smoked windshield. The flat black grows on me more and more.

Both bikes, very nice.

I like the flag graphics, but I would ditch the Honda at the bottom. I prefer the minimalist look myself. beer.gif

+1..... Great looking small mods to emphasize that fantastic flat black!! I have always been a fan ever since I first saw that flat black I think on the early 929s or naked whatever bike I saw it on...

Good job...The Honda logo does not bother me too much, however, i do think it would look a bit nicer without....

What profile is that rear tire?

I seem to agree with most replies. Not too much nor too little. Nice. I stripped all off my '92 except the "Honda" on the tank (clear coated).

Driggs,

I like the HONDA graphic on the lower cowl. The checkers I'm luke warm about. Get some titanium or carbon fiber pipes to complement the stealth look. I also love the Euro VTEC stickers that add a bit of color and look very cool, though I have not gotten around to it myself.

offtopic.gif But do you have a link to maybe a VTX site where you've detailed the mods to your 1300?

I'd like to read up on the whole project from start to finish. All the techno-moto-geekery stuff! warranty.gif

I searched the forums on Bigbikeriders.com, but your username didn't appear in the search. You must have a different handle over there?
