This subject has been posted before but it is still an ongoing battle. The February issue of AMA has an article in regard to a company that choose to deny health care for motorcycle-related injuries (to both employees and their dependents). Plus, this particular company wouldn't make good on its employee life insurance policy if you were killed in a motorcycle crash. Unfortunately the company is within it's rights under the current laws. Outrageous!!!
Being in the health care industry, I know how devastating physically, emotionally and financially an accident can be.

You can also respond to your state representative/senator on proposals for laws to end discrimination for health care to individuals participating in recreational activities, like motorcycling, horseback riding, snowmobiling and all-terrain vehicles.
