As you'll recall, I gutted my cat and sent the works off to Jet-Hot to be coated with their "Sterling" product. But once I got it all back together, the contrast with the Erion's original chrome was horrible.
So...took the muffler apart (no fun), sent the chromey bits to Jet-Hot, and just reassembled and repacked with fiberglass this weekend (also no fun). I rotated the black can 90 degrees to hide the rivets that used to hold the (tacky) Erion Racing label plate. Now I'm finally done with the exhaust...so I HOPE I don't come across a Erion or TBR header system at this stage of the game!
It's so nice to know I'll never be "blue" again! Or that weird yellowy/purpley color that the tail outlet was always turning. And wouldn't come off....
First pic is Jetted headers and chrome muffler parts. Yuck!

Chrome looks awful with Jet-Hot
This is the completed deal. the checkered flag is a "static cling" thing from cyclegraphics.com. Goes on and off whenever you like. Kinda fun.

Everything Coated
A closeup of the system. Done!

Closeup of Exhaust
Here's the tail end. Nice and shiny down there! Not for long, but at least the core will never rust or rot out now that it's coated, too.
