I got my new chain and sprockets the other day and I'm looking to get a chain breaker/riveter tool to install it with.
I'm looking at this Motion Pro tool from Sprocket Center.

But seriously, if you own bikes, it's good to have one in your garage. (Or a freind with one)
I couldn't see spending $100 on one I might never use again, so I called my buddy Gary over at Grand Prairie Cycle Sales.
I just took my new chain over to my local independent (used mostly) cycle dealer/mechanic and he used their their high dollar hydraulic chain press to put mine together.
Total cost: $0 Freebie (not including my personal time and gas to drive over.)
Let me just give you one bit of advice on using the motion pro. Make very sure that you grind the old rivet all the way down to, and maybe past, the link plate. I didn't, and broke the pin used to drive out the old rivet. Luckily I was close enough to be done, that I could jury rig the rest of the job. There was someone over on another website that not only broke the pin, but had it jam bad enough that he had to take it to a mchine shop to get the pieces out.
Local dealer charged me $15 to rivet the chain. Of course, I had to trailer the bike there to do it.
I just replaced mine last weekend without any special chain tools...I know it sounds barbaric, but it worked just fine. (the sales guy said they were a waist of money)
I just ground down the rivet heads and pried the link out with a large flat tip screwdriver. Then I used a small C-clamp to press the master link together. And finally a block of wood, a center punch and a hammer to flare out the ML rivet ends. Honda even provides a small fin on top of the rear hub that seems perfect to place a 1" thick piece of wood to pry against the chain/ML.

It's easy to make your own set up with a bit of research and knowledge.
I use a MotionPro kit from JC Whitney. Cost about $85. Item # ZX064183U
