Contemplating An Rc51 Fork Swap?

At the moment there are 2 sets of RC51 SP2 forks with triple clamps and axle listed on Ebay. Both auctions have about 6 days to go. One set looks a bit tatty, the other is quite nice.

You need the SP1 (2000-2001) steering stem, not the SP2. The SP2 steering stems are too big to fit on the VFR.

did you check the frankerviffer index vfr800canuck has a excellent writeup of his process so i,d check that for ideas if i were you.

I'm already knee deep in the parts acquisition stage of the conversion for my '02, I made the post about the Ebay stuff in case there was interest for anyone else on the list. Lots of good info in the Frankenviffer pages.....been there, read that!
