Any trouble bleeding the air out of the brakes or the clutch?

A lot of people don't bother doing the clutch line, but I noticed better control over the clutch engagement on my '86 when I converted it to braided lines.

And yes, the clutch was properly bled before that.

Dutchy, Apr 12 2007, 02:19 PMWell, the mods are done for this season.
(a new muffler will have to wait).

New lines, filled with DOT 5.
Will take her for a spin over the weekend, but 1st off, the brake levers feel like they grip firmer/directer already. Better be carefull...

It looks really good from here. Stainless lines always look more sanitary.

I would ask a question if I may.

Why not two lines in the front instead of a Tee?

While the mechanic did the work, I crunched some accounting issues in the office goofy.gif
I felt comfortable changing front/rear suspension etc just follow the workshop manual and use the tools I have, but brake fluid work/air draineage didnot appeal to me.

You can ask everything you want, 'cept the pincode on my bankcard....

I went for the standard, over the mudguard setup because I like "the look". The "Race" setup would've been cheaper. There is no difference in perfomance.

And I learned that apart from DOT 3, 4 and 5, there is also 5.1...

PS: hhhm.. there is a little tie-wrap that needs to be removed...
