As in where to drill the Pilot hole for the sliders if you cannot slide a rod all through the bike like the 5th/6th gens

1st you need a long 10mm rod (IMG:style_emoticons/oldemoticons/fing02.gif) :

Of which you saw off say 13cm and slide it in the engine bolt hole:

Have your son prepare a blob of chewing gum

Stick it on the inside of the fairing, attach the panel to the bike for a perfect imprint of the bolt!
Stick a fine marker in the centre of the gum imprint, perfect mark!

Just remember. Don't drink and drill. (IMG:style_emoticons/oldemoticons/tongue.gif)

Play-doh, silly putty, modeling clay, and/or pizza dough would all do the same thing, with out having to disinfect afterwards...

why waste good alcohol?? (IMG:style_emoticons/oldemoticons/goofy.gif)

You'll never get your rod through the hole.

Seriously, good stuff.

So... if the rod goes all the way through, why not just score the inside of fering with it? Why deprive the kid of his gum? And such a good looking kid too...

I love these post where the kids get involved. the best part about using the gum is he knows now that the child did not swallow it. (IMG:style_emoticons/oldemoticons/smile.gif) although that could also be said if you used play dough ect.... (IMG:style_emoticons/oldemoticons/smile.gif)

p.s. Naca's look so much better inside out!!!! (IMG:style_emoticons/oldemoticons/tongue.gif)
