#1 rbertalotto Thread starter 2 Jul 2007 06:16 I have a garage that needs to be occupied by a car and a motorcycle lift. The lift is too tall for the car to simply drive over, so this weekend I embarked on a little project.......
Read about it here:

That is excellent! A way to have your lift and keep your needed space. Kinda like having your cake and eating it too! Nice write up with photos. Enjoy that - job well done.
Wow, nothing like a complete installation of a lift. I guess I'm lucky that my wife drives a Blazer and can just park over mine. Nice.
hehehehe amazing. nice one, mate. very nice. what an awesome mancave you've built there! fing02.gif
One of the most practical ideas I've seen in a long time...nice toys, btw fing02.gif
Very nice. And if you should ever move, you can take the lift out, and pour more concrete to fill the hole left behind.
Nice! Something to think about for my next house. Awesome!
#10 rbertalotto Thread starter 2 Jul 2007 12:15 My wife was VERY concerned when I started to dig a 6' X 3' hole in the garage floor........ laugh.gif Thanks for the kind comments................ "Man Cave".................I like that!
Great job. A co-worker of mine has a very similar set-up.... Good idea on the crane you used to get the concrete out. Well done all-in-all. You must not live where it snows? That would soon be a nice lake here in the winter time without some kind of drainage.
#12 rbertalotto Thread starter 2 Jul 2007 19:12 Yes it snows, but the car that parks over the lift never goes out in the snow......In fact, it's in storage all winter.......Thanks
