Here's the conclusion to the "They Are Going In" opus, eighty-six days after I brought my '04 Asphalt in for service (I'll have to wait for some sunshine pics).
Some notable differences are the frame and radiators are black, the markers are clear, the master cylinders are silver, the exhaust is brushed, the screen is smoked and the wheels are gunmetal:
A few more touches of black will make it the ultimate stealth bike! Looks good, and good(better) luck with this one!! (IMG:style_emoticons/oldemoticons/fing02.gif)
Crap. You've pretty much convinced my that I need to black out my frame now. Thanks. (IMG:style_emoticons/oldemoticons/dry.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/oldemoticons/goofy.gif)
Congrats on the new ride! (IMG:style_emoticons/oldemoticons/fing02.gif)
Congratulations. I have been following the saga since the start. An incredible situation that you should not have had to endure. But in the end you have a very nice (yes, I'm jealous) bike that I hope you enjoy for many many miles. Happy riding my friend (IMG:style_emoticons/oldemoticons/fing02.gif)
So what you have there is an 07 Anniv. addition with 04 asphalt plastics, right? It looks great... I was thinging about ordering the 07 anniv. wheels for my 07 red (IMG:style_emoticons/oldemoticons/smile.gif)

Why stop at the wheels? You could also buy the anniversary edition tank and plastics. . ..
Right... but I would have bought an 07 anniv. if I wanted those plastice (IMG:style_emoticons/oldemoticons/smile.gif) Don't get me wrong, I like the tri color, but it's not the bike for me. Enjoy your great lookin new ride!
Thanks! I really like this bike. It seems to be well-received.
I was bikeless for about 3 months. Once I had the new ride, I put on 600 miles the first week and got that service out of the way. As it sits in my garage a week later, the bike is almost ready for the 4,000 mile check. (IMG:style_emoticons/oldemoticons/fing02.gif)
