Just to let everyone know I just saw a picture of a guy who put a trailer on his VFR V-tec the topic is in the yahoo V-Tec group
http://www.dealsgap.com/images/vfr_unigo.jpg Googus,
That is cool! Where are you in Morris?
I briefly talked with that guy up at TWO this weekend. Says he hardly notices it's behind him. He's got a lot of other goodies on the bike including 2 sets of fog lights for "running the dragon at night" (1 set on his mirrors, and 1 set on the end of his forks).

:twist: Yes, his name is Pierre, a Canadian that's been working a the Tail of thr Dradon Hotel/store for years. He does the Gap every day to and from work and says he's ridden it thousands of times, day or night ! :wow:
He could smoke most of us through there with his trailer on !
Some jobs have great perks don't they !

I want one!!!! Is is available, or did he have it made special?
It looks like the Unigo Trailer designed for the VFR ... but with the stickers removed??
Here is the link -- thanks to Miguel who replied to one of my posts about trailers for the VFR a couple months ago:
Uni-go yeh I meet up with him at the Gap on my vacation he said he was going to do it I just couln't picture it WOW it is something else but close to 3000 that is way out of my buget his vtec is very well set up with goodies
not sure of the time difference but i think maybe the uk vfr site may have just pipped you at the post!
This was posted last night on www.hondavfrclub.org/
It is a bit weird and I can only comment on what the guys in the uk are saying regarding the coupling point affecting handling in corners and braking in general?

Man! You could travel with some serious stuff with that. An XX pilot at the ST.N meet had this setup, but no hardbags.
Man, the last time I saw something that I wanted that bad it was my VFR......wonder what the wife is gonna say about this....
Jesus...if you want that then go ahead and buy a car or something... ohmy.gif ???
If that thing came with an optional seat, with a load capacity of 120 lbs
i'd get one
3-Up riding

laugh.gif Ditto! My wife loves to camp with lots of gear and comfort. This could very well bridge the gap between wanting to camp and having to take the cage and wanting to take the bike but having to spend $$ for a hotel when we'd rather be camping.
Time to start saving. sad.gif
I do believe that's the first time I've ever seen an automotive U-joint used for that purpose. Rather creative, I think! I was expecting a large ball on a small stalk, but I like their approach much better.

It is a Uni-Go trailer. They used to sell them at the dragon store special order. I don't know if they still do though. They do however still have them in their brochures they send you if you buy something from the store at the Deals Gap homepage. I think it's www.dealsgap.com

Yah, the poor guy has to ride the Dragon every day to and from work ! blink.gif
Those Unigo trailers are really neat. However, they are very expensive. Let's fingure out how to make one ourselves. biggrin.gif
