Just finished installing the clear rear lens along with Eagle Eye 3W LED turn signals all around and a new relay to keep the blinkers from blinking too fast.
I simply swapped the back of the lenses (since the turn signal holes are a different pattern). Put em both in the oven @ 220F for about 8 minutes and I was easily able to unstick the glue with a butter knife.

Nothing. All of the glue pretty much stuck into the black backing... I pressed the new lens onto the old backing *hard* and held it for a few minutes while the whole thing cooled. Seemed good enough. If it ends up fogging up or something I'll figure something else out :).

Yep.. you can get front clear lenses (Servicehonda), LEDs for the front (autolumination.com), and a turn signal relay (customdynamics.com) for about $120 total.

I really like. Already having the clear lenses, could list the part numbers in text of the bulbs and relay that you used.
It was plug-and-play on the VFR. Remove windscreen, pull front fairing up from the bottom (the piece on the front of the bike that the windscreen covers)... and the blinker relay is dead center. Plug in new relay, zip tie in place.
I'm just starting on my transition to clear lenses....But I was thinking, instead of baking/swapping the back of the rear lens, cant I just order 2 sockets for an 06-newer model? I disconnected the power connector from the socket and if this can work, this'll be the way I'm gonna go. And will this apply to the front as well? I like the shiny inside of the new lens backing compared to the dull silver on the old one so I'd like to use the whole lens.
And as far as bulbs go, is it a 7443A (amber) that I need? This bulb doesnt look that common, I'm thinking the dealership might be my only solution.

For both front and rear, the new style sockets have different connectors - so you'd also have to buy the bike/wire-side connectors and solder/clamp/whatever the wires into them.
The rears are actually just 7440 (single filament)... but 7443s will work fine too.
Well I took the rear lens and both backings from the front lenses to a buddy of mine who works at an autobody shop.
I was going to get him to swap the backing for the new rear lens but he suggested modifying the socket holes so the old sockets fit properly.
I picked em up this morning and this was by far the easiest/fastest way to get this all to work.
Now to wait for the LED's from customdynamics.......

I just picked up the same stuff for my 2006. Unfortunately, Honda seems to have switched to a 9-wire turn signal relay and the LED flasher that I got from customdynamics.com doesn't fit. Oddly enough, there's also a 2-wire relay (with a part # that matches Google searches for turn signal relay), but it's not getting any power. And when I disconnect it, the turn signals work. If I disconnect the 9-wire relay, no turn signals.
Sweet, it now looks like an 08. My 08 has those stock on it. The turn signals are still amber though. Can you show the pics of the leds that you used. Iwant to install the clear leds in mine but haven't had the nerve to remove the housing to pull out the ambers.

Looks to me like the OEM Honda top mount. If your lookin' for a aftermarket top mount to go with the OEM sidebags the SW-Mototech works and you can get different mounts to adapt to different brand cases. For instance I have OEM side bags and a Givi top truck that I can mount all at the same time and are all keyed alike since the OEM comes with an extra tumbler.
