Bar Ends

Did someone ever try those? http://www.motovatio...sp?idproduct=43

I'm sure they work, but why not spend a little more and get some throttlemeisters? You can get the same heavy weights AND "cruise control".

Hmmm! seem's like a good idea!

I have Motovation bar ends on my Gixxer. They work fantastic. Totally eliminated the numbness I was getting in my hand

I put Manic Salamander heavy bars ends on my 6th gen. They eliminated 99% of any vibrations.



IMHO I did not trust the Throttlemeisters.... had a bad experience w/ them once. For me it was too easy to get into a situation where you cannot get it off rapidly under stress.

I went with the one you can flip on/off w/your thumb by NEP . It is really more of a thumb operated throttle lock. But most of these devise are, unless you go electric.

I'm glad somebody brought this up because I sometimes get a tingling sensation in my ring finger and pinkie that I never got on my FZ1. If heavier bard ends solve the problem, I'll probably get some at some point in time, but I wouldn't want them to be longer than stock. I'd also want them to be black.

Going back to the FZ1, although its ergos were more or less the same, it had a handlebar and risers as opposed to clip-ons (if that matters.)

So anywhay, does anyone know if the long bars are much better than the shorter ones? How about looks? I wouldn't mind getting the longer bar ends, but I don't want them to look rediculously long. Anyone got any pics of both?
