Excellant post sir if I might say so. Truly a pleasure to read a fine outstanding piece of literary work as constructed by a true sculptor of the american language...

(I wish we had a happy face that knocks on the top of his head/helmet, you know, that LEO WARNING signal...)

Well, at my age I like being thought of as "new". Can't wait to ride it. Been on my old VF's for so long I have to keep reminding myself that it is fuel injected and all that "new" stuff. Now I just have to hide the key so the GF won't take it out while I am at work (she has those short school teacher days). LOL

Howdy, Motorhead. Congrats on the banks ownership of your sweet ride. I love my gen 5 but I love the rwb's as well. K9maniac and I took to the mountains a couple of weeks ago. He is as proud of his as your are excited about your new baby. I note you have quite an armada in your garage. :fing02:

Congrats on the new RWB VFR. I'm over in Syracuse, maybe meet up someday for a ride. Maybe in Utica and ride up into the 'dacks. Hate to say it, but I got no time this year, but maybe next year. But something to look forward to.
#24
WELCOME ! Albany is prefect - couple hours up to the Adirondacks. Lots of good riding right out your back door.

New Bike - Just in time for the Catskills Ride first weekend in October.

Get the clear plastic stick on stuff for the front of the fairing... no stone chips!

You are going to L O V E the VFR.

WELCOME!

Beaverun Trackday 5 18 08 this was a shot from West Hills Honda Track day at Beaverun 5 18 08.
it was 44deg w/ 14mph winds and scattered thundershowers.
only about 25 bikes there for 3 classes.
it was great! like having the track to yourself.

Darn, If I had only thought it through to the end. Nah, I would have had to buy a goldwing to get the A/C and the Bose 6 speaker stereo! But, sure could use all those cup holders that wingers come with.

WooHoo! Congrats Tom! Glad to hear to finally got it, I remember you talking about getting one at the last Fall ride(a year ago!), so I guess good things do come to those who wait. :fing02:

Look forward to seeing your reactions to riding the new one, in comparison to the old ones. I don't think you will ever look at your 1000F the same again...

ps - did you call Harbor Freight?

Hey Shayne, at the track, you want every little extra bit of speed you can find - hence the red tape. :goofy:

I am very happy indeed! Just before we loaded her into the truck for the oh so long 100 mile drive home in the pouring rain!

And then finally home and in the garage next to one of the 84 VF1000F's till the sun comes out tomorrow.
