Over the past 7 months I've come across a couple RWB's and seen even less on the roads. Now with year-end model closeouts it seems that the RWB's are suddenly flooding the board. And the two that I saw for sale a couple months back at a local dealer have vanished without a trace. Even started seeing another one locally in this small town, kind of a phantom as I never see him when I'm actually on my bike, so one of these days I'll catch him... So got me wondering, how many RWB's were made, and since that question is next to impossible to answer, how about how many RWB's are actually on VFRD.
I'll get it started... just add your number to the running total...
ordered mine the morning after it was released.
received it in early december 06
i believe it was the first delivered to the general public. :fing02: I'm sure some honda exec probably had #000001 stashed away from the get go.
Got mine in late December 2006. It snowed heavy the day after I got it, and uncharacteristically of this area, it stayed cold for weeks and the snow didn't melt. The RWB stayed in my garage with 0 miles for a couple of months. It was absolute torture. :pissed:

Hey guys, n00b here...
I just got my 25th this past weekend. Found it new on the showroom floor, The typical "mechanic test ride 1 mile" on it when I took delivery.

Just on a whim, if anyone just HAPPENS to read this far BEFORE posting up, do us a favor... continue a running total. Kinda like the Million Mile Thread...
For example...
1 + 7 = 8
1 + 8 = 9
2 + 9 = 11 (in case you're lying and have two)
Let me know if this is too hard and our team (Thanks kent and david) will try and help you out...
Did anyone of you pass through Southeast Missouri on Hwy 61 a couple weeks ago? I saw another RWB (for the first time) and my heart kinda dropped. I'm supposed to be the only one around here! Made me wish I was on mine.
I have one as well!
And she has been coast to coast since I bought it in April MotoGP at Laguna Seca in July Porland, Maine in August for a wedding living in IL made that easier, oh And now MotoGp at Indy so she has made it to two MotoGp's in one year.
The day I picked it up.

I have #1377 and so far the only RWB with white wheels on our site. I have been asked by every rider since I purchased it, "Is that OEM?" I took it in for its first service but it wasn't at the dealership where I purchased it. The general manager really liked the wheels and wondered aloud, "how many are out there like that?" So as a tag along request...any RWB with different colored wheels? Thanks, JD
I have # 1376 and it had 0 miles on it when I took delivery. BTW, if someone wants one the dealer still has an ABS model on the floor. Chenango Import Motors, Utica, NY. And don't let em tell you it is gonna sell for more than $10k. (they will try)

Were all the Anniversary models consecutively numbered in their own series?
here are the VIN designations i have been able to decode.
the number after the model designation RC46 is the Color/ABS the number after that is just a check digit and can be anything.
RC46-1 RED NON ABS,
RC46-6 RWB NON ABS
RC46-8 RWB ABS
RC46-9 RWB ABS
here is a list of VIN numbers from VFRWorld.com
I believe some of these are RED

sorry couldn't resist.
Okay Shayne just to show support to your topic, maybe I'll put an American flag sticker or my bike. That way there is some red white and blue on it. :fing02:
there's obviously a mistake somewhere. I purchased my bike, 2nd owner. 1st owner lives in Hesperia, bought it Aug 07, traded it in Nov 07. With 516 miles on it. Never left Hesperia/Victorville.

I know the Salesmen who sold it to the first owner, and sold the same guy the Harley in November. We're going off the last six of the VIN right? If it was a ABS RWB then the first couple numbers would be different, but the last six COULD be the same right? So it's solved, his was a ABS RWB that got flooded, while mine is a NON-ABS RWB that is sleeping quietly in her own massive 4 car garage with NO THREAT OF FLOOD DAMAGE WHATSOEVER!!! (Live in a desert)
Ok, here's one of mine, #901376 at the dealer on delivery 9/6/08. Was raining like hell outside - no flooding though.

Does an '03 RWB count? If so, I think mine was made first.

Yep mine was an ABS model.
sorry for your loss, but it did scare the crap outta me... I actually went out and double checked the numbers, and called my buddy the salesmen... He just laughed and told me about the ABS and Non-ABS models could have the last 6 numbers the same...
I think I got listed in 4th and 7th.......... .......maybe I've got more bikes than I thought I had.....goin' out to check..........................................nope, just one VFR............... :goofy:

Me too, 11th and 18th. I am not even going to look in the garage. I have so many bikes in there it would take too long to be sure. I only hope that doesn't mean I now have two monthly payments as well.
RIGHT YOUR ARE! Thank you for the QC.
My handwritten list was right, but cutting and pasting obviously confuses me.
Here's the list again with NO DUPES.
Sorry to those neglected in the first post.
26+1 = 27
25+1 = 26
I have received a note from Honley - and added him to the list.
Also a clarification from sportrider which makes him #26.
