Hi all, I've been lurking for awhile now. I just acquired an 03 abs with Heli bar. since this is my first bike with hydrolic clutch, I figure I'd ask all the experienced folks to see if there's any way to adjuust the location of the friction zone.

right now, the friction zone is very far from the grip. I like to move that spot closer to the grip, because I have smaller size hand. if it is possible to do that, what is the procedure?

thanks in advance

There is an adjustment on the lever. I found by playing with the adjuster wheel, I could bring the lever position closer to the bar which made for much smoother shifting.

I neglected to mention that I have already played with that adjuster already & have gotten it closer. I'm wondering if there is another place where I can bring it even more close.

Other than that, all you can do is bleed it. That will only help if their is air in the line, which will give you a mushy feeling. Other than that, there is really nothing you can do but get used to it.
