Idle Fluctuation

Something strange happened last night after I stopped to get gas. Rode for about 20 miles and stopped for about 10 min to fill-up. Bike normally idles at 1200 rpm on the dot. But when I started her up this time, she was idling at 2000. Rode couple miles to the house and the idle dropped to 1500, and was fluctuating between 1500-1200. Battery? R/R? Stator? Wiring harness recall, monitor wire mod complete. Thoughs and suggestions appreciated.

where was you engine temps during this time?

Well, Id try different gas before attempting to fix, since it all started at the gas station

what brand fuel?


Hurricane gas out of houston might have water in it
