My wife and her sister went to our Fall Festival today so I said 'its time to go!' Ole' girl was on her game and we only did 180 miles but they were fun miles with a few stops for photos and food. Later, JD :biggrin:
PS - Those white wheels rock. They are not that hard to keep clean and I mean ever time I ride it, all I hear is "why didn't Honda do that?" Hell, I'm glad they didn't! Now we need to tidy up her rear and add some booming slip-ons. Any ideas?
I love white wheels, and I don't think there has been a production bike w/ white wheels in quite some time.
Bike looks great.
If you do a lot of solo riding, try removing the rear peg brackets. It really cleans up the look a lot in my opinion, and would look great showing off that wheel...

Oh yeah. I agree but then my wife would have to dangle her feet. Wait a second...you might be on to something. Ha!!! She loves to ride with me even though she feels more comfortable on my 919.

I wanted to remove my rear pegs as well but noticed on the right side there is a 2" knob attached to the rear pegs for firming up the rear shock. why doesnt your bike have that? Is that something that they put on the 08s?

To those who decided to spend more money at the dealers on an ABS model, they gave them preferential treatment with the remote preload adjuster. To the tightwads they decided to give us peanuts and a special tool in the tool kit. I just bought myself a second hand rear shockie of an ABS model and Bob's my uncle. With a little imagination, you could locate the knob elsewhere...
I have a silver 05 and I thought to polish the rims. Maybe paint instead. The white look on your RWB is a great look. It's a fantastic addition to an already striking paint scheme. Nice going.

The dealer where I bought the bike did the wheels. The New Honda of Winston Salem. I was at a Honda dealership yesterday and a guy was leaving on a CBR1000. He trurned around and came back to ask me the same thing. His bike was red and black and he wanted to go with red wheels. Have you ever seen a Ducati ST4 (silver) with red wheels? That is one sharp combo. This dealer is in High Point, NC and they had a new '06 (white) with a sticker of $10,495.00. I had tried to buy that bike but had no luck. But what blew my mind was a new RC51 sitting off in the corner. It was brand new and priced at $8,690!!! Oh damn!!! As I started to tell my wife about it she took a sip of her coffee and said, "STOP.
