I searched, but could not find a good run down of what changed from year to year for the 6th gen bikes. Can someone point me in the right direction or give me some info?
I was looking to compare some specs between my 98 VFR and a friends 04 F4i for kicks last night and stumbled upon this. The page pretty much lists all the improvements on the 6th gen VFRs year by year. It'll take a bit to find the bike (start on the left with desired year model) and go from there. Had a lot more information than I ever expected to stumble across.

Actually the VTEC engagement is at 7k rpm through model year 2005. I checked out that website and it was interesting but way down at the bottom of description and specs it said fuel capacity 4.8 gals! Which makes me wonder what else they were wrong on... otherwise cool, though.
FYI my '02 doesn't have flashers but sPOTO's 04 does. ah sad.
Oh, and its my understanding that besides the clear turn signal lenses the '06 and up models have slightly different injectors. hmmm there was something else too... can't remember.
cheers

Hate to nitpick, but

It's quite common for people to believe it's at 7,000 RPM, either due to the all too often inaccurate tachometers, and our tendency to round up or down... I believe the change was made to 6,600 RPM kick in and 6,200 RPM drop-out thresholds... but this time I'm not so sure. Mine's an 03 so I haven't bothered...
