Pig Spotters

has anyone used pigspotters on their sixth gen...if so how well did they work and where did you mount them.

I put them on my 954rr at one time loved the clean look but they were worthless I couldn't see hardly anything behind me. If it was me I wouldn't even consider putting them on my vfr but that's me.

I doubt they are intended to be used, just there to be "legal."

Everyone I've spoken to says that while they give a sleeker look, they're worthless.

You're not alone, Dutchy. I had to Google it to figure out what they're talking about above. They look cool but also quite useless for real world riding if you care what's behind you.

I have a couple friends who put them on their R1's.

They are indeed useless.

Maybe they're not that useless, They can be called "Fool spotters" if the riders who bothers to put them on their bikes can see their elbows and faces on them as they do their next death defying wheelies and handstands... :rolleyes:

i have never actually known anyone to use them..i just ran across them online and was curious. i actually like to see what is behind me and stuff so i guess they are not the mirrors for me...thank you all for your input.

By the looks of it they are indeed useless...

I'm one of those riders that has to be able to see behind me as well as in front of me. Don't think I could use those.

A lot of rider that put them one also install the ANT rear camera with the front mount screen and use this as their rear view mirror.
