Collected it from a Triumph dealer 100 miles away and rode it home. Brilliant - all I expected and more. Mind you I'll have to sort out the headlights , with my wife on the back I was flashing low flying aircraft when accelerating.
It came with heated grips - very welcome, my poor wife was very cold by the time we got home ... now installed the cable for the heated gear.
Funny mix of tyres though, Dunlop on the front & Michelin on the back.

There can be nothing better than living in the UK - my point of view. My family is mostly from Aldershot where my father was an instructor in the army school of physical training. I miss it a great deal.
I'm stuck here for now.

Reminds me of an adage, my buds and I have concluded on,....
"Ride faster and be frozen, for a shorter period of time. Or, ride slower, and be cold fo a while". I'll freeze, to get home, for a hot shower. LOL.

Congrats on the new bike and welcome to VFRD. Hopefully you wife hangs on tight. You mite want to stiffen the rear spring for double's. My wife is not a fan of wheeling. I think it is way funny until I touch down and realize she is pounding on me and yelling. Still makes me laugh everytime....
