thought i might say hi once again after not being on a vfr for a while but i missed the old vtecer so i bought a new 08 and am loving it, can't believei didn't appreciate her before, i was hood winked that you need the big power bikes. I still have my BB but am riding the old vfr more and will probably sell the bb, i don't want to but you only cann ride one bike i suppose :dry:
At least you cheated on us with another Honda. I am curious what your overall impressions of the Blackbird were? How was the handling comparitively? Was it comfortable? I, too, have considered a BB but then end up returning to the vfr everytime I have purchased a new bike.
Every rider needs at least 2 bikes.
What if you want to loan one to a friend for a day ride?
What if you go out to ride and the bike won't start or has a flat?
I just put it back and grab the other bike in that case. :cool:

This is the delemma i love the black bird especially the power it just keeps pulling so smooth if you could put that power in the vfr you would have the perfect bike. But the handling on the vfr is so much better, not that the bb is bad it just feels heavier to throw around and slower turning. i like how you have to ride the vfr through the gears, where as on the bb it will do close to 120 km/h in first gear and can pull hard in 6th from low revs so it doesn't really matter what gear your in. BB is comfortable im 6'4 but is more bent over than vfr which is a more comfortable ride, not buy much. i love the v4 of the vfr and helps a "little" to keep to speed limit.
I think the vfr is more "fun" to ride. Unless you short shift on the birdy your speed gets to go to jail very quickly.
The Blackbird is a great bike and i woulod recommend it to anyone.
Thanks for the info on the BB... Always liked that bike and always wanted to ride one. I get the same power on my CBR, but it's not near as comfy.
I noticed that your 08 is Candy Red... it that the color there this year? My 07 is the same color (in the states.) Sweet bike and great color. I don't run in to many others with the Candy Red color scheme :)

No that was my old bike i had a crash on it due to poor road conditions :blush: then bought the BB, under the pic it tells my bikes and colours i haven't found a silvr avtar and can't remember how to shrink to size anyone??
In Aus there is only one colour for the 08 that is the silver.

Love the looks and performance of the Blackbird, but I can get in trouble easily enough on my slow, heavy and underpowered under-800cc VFR! ;p I can only own one bike at a time for now, and the VFR is simply the best bike for me. It's still the best all-arounder I know of. :fing02:

Tim C you own a great bike, if push comes to shove the BB will be going buy buy :biggrin:
