In 23,000 miles, this is the first time I've had to remove the fairings on my bike (I just reach in for oil changes). All I have to say is those little rivet-button-things are a pain in the ass. I broke one of them where the two fairings meet under the bike. A zip tie is my temporary fix. While I had the fairings off, I took them to the kitchen sink and gave them a nice hot and soapy sponge bath.

(Sorry if you guys are getting tired of looking at my bike, but it's snowing outside and I'm losing my mind!)

Anyway, what do you think? I think it looks great...

The force is strong in you, but I fear that the Dark Side is taking possession of your soul. I sense that before this winter is out, you will painting those beautiful red fairings black. Or worse yet, flat black.
Muahahahaha.

Lol, you're not far off the mark... But flat black is only my second choice next to Italian Red. The burgandy is a close third.

If I ever have the misfortune of rashing up my fairings, flat black is probably the way I'll go.

Now all you need are silver side covers. LOL.
