Last night I took the VFR out of the living room and onto the streets.
At 4am the bike said 14 degrees. Then it said nothing but - -. I guess it was too cold for the VFR thermometer to accurately read.
The weather channel said it was 19 degrees.
I didn't care. I went riding. And it was great. I haven't ridden in about two months; probably the longest non-riding span I've done in years.
...Did I mention it was great? ...and cold.
I'm going out again right now.
29 degrees. That should feel balmy compared to last night.
