Our 6th gens seem to be in the line of fire more than most other bikes these days, so I thought you guys would appreciate this small article, published before any prejudice set upon the dreaded dangerous crazy turbo VTEC system

The link just suddenly vanishes, it makes you wonder. Maybe some powers that be do not want you to know the truth. 6th Gen Anti Defamation League (SGADL).

As president of SGADL I resemble this remark
... whatever the reason, it's clear the latest VFR if the truth be told got a hell of alot of good press when it was 1st released, it's only this last couple of years; some critics must be getting bored or something.
Critics are definitely getting bored.
As someone _/\/\/\_  here has said before (many many times), the bike is a very good one. It was good 7 years ago and it still is even by todays' standards. I bet if some mfg came out with a re badged, re styled VFR knock-off (w/o vtec) it would get some very complimentary reviews.
Personally, I still don't see another bike that I would rather own at this point.
I am not a Honda or a VFR or a V4 fanatic. I simply look at the practical side of things.
It looks good, it rides as good as I'll ever need, it doesn't break, has low maintenance costs and it can be bought dirt cheap.
However, just like the critics, I might get bored with it at some point. If Honda doesn't offer a viable alternative, I'll look elsewhere. Until then, I'm content with what I gots. :fing02:
As someone who's owned two of each of the 4th and 6th gens, I pretty much agree with his overall take with some minor exceptions that I don't feel the need to mention.
