Im planning on going on a long trip this spring and am not sure if I need a Sargeant seat. Anyone in Central FL have one I can sit on and see what I think?
Anyone In Central Florida Have A Sargeant Seat?

I do...
Can't help on the FL location, but aftermarket seats do a great job in extending your comfort zone and is a must for any longer rides.
The two best know are the Sargent & Corbin. I hate Corbins for two reasons, they don't fit my body(read azz) and they have the worst Customer Service in the World! BUT, if you happen to have a Corbin butt/build then no other seat will give you better or longer range comfort. My point is to try and find VFRD members near you with each brand and ask for a test ride or seat trade so you can figure out which seat is the correct one for you!
I have and love my Sargent seat and hopefully a Sargent seat will work for you, but be sure to try both!
I would change your thread title and ask for either guys with a Corbin and someone with a Sargent for you to try.
It would relly need to be a milti hour ride on each to get the best idea.
Good luck!

The sargent is excellent, just buy it and ride. I got a fair deal here on VFRD classifieds. I am pretty much a cheapo and dont waste cash on useless farkles....I do think oem seat is ok for only about 4 hours...but on an all day ride and even a quick trip across town you will be thankful you made the upgrade to a sargent seat, spend the money...its a smart purchase that you will like.
On a long trip..I AM SURE you NEED a Sargent seat...its the long time in the saddle where you really notice the differences over oem however on a short trip the saddle design gives me back support and control, is just plain comfy on yer a$$ , buy it and you will understand.
