Drain Plugs To Replace O2 Sensors

I've tried posting this under the Mods section but couldn't get an answer. I've installed a PCIII, did the resitor mod, can someone tell me what size drain bolts I need to replace the o2 sensors on the headers and where to procure such bolts? I'd really appreciate it!

I don't know, but I need some o2 sensors when you get them out! :biggrin:

I'd probably pull them out and go to lowes or home depot to find a bolt that you can plug it with. If you don't have any success there, try a company like Fastenal.

Never heard of anyone of swapping them out. Why are you?

FI light wass on. Pulled codes which are 21 & 22 which are o2 sensors. I put a power commander and just bipassed the sensors w/ the eliminators, but I want to put good sensors on to make sure that's what the problems was. I was only getting +-30mpg with the bad sensors, but it has stayed that bad w/ the PC3.

OP not you.

If I remember right. I got 18mm drain plugs from NAPA and copper crush washers too.

When I did the PCIII mod, I just left the sensors in place. They are disconnected so they don't function and are not a problem.

Caliper measured 18mm thread with a 22mm head by 10mm deep. Crush washer wouldn't hurt, but not entirely necessary IMHO. :mellow: You probably won't find one that short at a supplier but there's at least 15mm of thread in there as far as I can see..... :blink:
So, guess what that means? I have a set of O2 sensors just hangin' round, along with the required heat shield for one of them. :warranty:

Although I get your point, I seem to think that map you're using is maybe responsible for your fuel consumption issues.
And Ralpha: Most people just leave the 02 sensors in, that's what I did, until I gutted may 6th gen. cat and since the system's off the bike, now I'll remove them.
