side effects i mean. Other than just sounding better.

My 98 has a power commander mapped and Staintune Hi mount exhaust and occasionally it pops loud like and RC46 should in race tune. Your can mod will just make your exhaust note a little easier to hear. Then when you get tired of that heavy stock exhaust you might look at buying a slip on. Look up pair valve block off or dissable for more infor.
No "pop" here. I have no adverse side affects from drilling mine.
sometimes I get a 'pop' from my Bos Cans on de-acceleration when it's hot out - I like it, so long as it's 'Normal' :huh:
