I bought this ZG double bubble windscreen for my 6th gen and the screen doesn't match up with the bodywork of the bike very well. The stock screen is flush against the bikes plastic but the ZG has a big gap on both sides. Does anyone else have this problem.

I had one once, and thought the quality was questionable.

Puig screens fit much, much better. :fing02:

I put a ZG db on my 06 and have the same issues. I really don't like the fit at all and will never buy a ZG screen again. I really like how it looks when you stand back, so I havent bothered to order a Puig. A black pearl bike with the dark smoke screen looks oh so nice.

ZG's fit and finish sucks. Notice the gaps where you can see the red paint come through...

Hmm, now that you mention it............ I'm not such a nitpick on stuff like that so I didn't think twice about it until I saw this post. Chalk one up to "I didn't know any better."

Mine came with the ZG DB clear and it seems to fit fine on mine. I would snap some pics but I took all the fairings off yesterday and won't be re-assembling the bike until this weekend. Why is it the weather always turns beautiful when I take my bike apart?

I didn't have a choice. This week is Spring Break and is the only time I can strip down the bike and get the fairings over to the body shop since I don't have to run to school (which I use the VFR for since the motorcycle parking is right near my class). Ah well, I will post up pics when I get her put back together this weekend.
