Well, finally got out on the VFR today as I rode to work! A bit chilly but Oh Wow what a feeling! Back on two wheels and nearly new at that! (only 860 miles that I put on since last fall)! Woo Hoo. Love that bike. So glad I bought it! :fing02: :fing02:

After the last few days of finally riding again, I have to say one of the best things is the sound of my VFR's motor. It's like a raw, almost animalistic sound - esp. compared to my cage. And yeah, I really dig it. :fing02:

I ain't been out yet this year. I always seem to be the last one to park the bike for the winter but the last one to get back on in the spring....

Only twice? I rode mine 4 out of 5 business days and made a few runs on the side. Of course I can't ride this week due to my gas tank being in the body shop...

Rode a few times last week.....I commute daily except when it was nearly freezing and raining. Not a week went by that i didn't ride at least 3 days to work.

Now I just need to actually ride for pleasure.

My business is 200 yards from my home and I take the little man to granny's for "granny day care" so i have to sneak rides in.

And my wife is an accountant so right now she is working ALL the time :(

I am looking forward to riding more often when it warms up. Can't wait to pick up the bike either...

Sometimes I wish I could take a long break from the VFR just so I can get that 'new' fresh feeling again, but I remember when I had to borrow a Bandit650 for a month once I got back on my VFR it felt sweet... but me? I ride everyday, even at the weekends, I have to... and I want to

I feel for you guys who have to park your bike up!

Here in WA oz you can ride everyday of the year :fing02:

You must go bats not being able to ride??

i suppose you are just use to it??

that would be like slow torture any possibilities of moving to a warmer climate???

Winter sucks, but getting the bike out in the spring is like getting a new toy for Christmas!

Same thing here. I got my bike last fall and it has been a long winter. Last Saturday I finally finished up some maintenance (with help of the fine members here) and I got to go out for about an hour. It was so sweet. I can't believe how smooth this bike is. I haven't even washed it since I got it last fall.

Just started riding again over here as the weather has now picked up a little ans its finally stopped snowing and raining, had a good ride out last Sunday about 200 miles and again used the vfr for work Tuesday picked what I wanted to do which took me on another 200 mile route, I truly love this bike it does all I want when I want with the mods Scorpion cans, K+N filter Gilles vario bars, MRA Vario touring screen its fantastic wind noise down to a minimum bars up and back a bit the sound is glorious the bike is great and still surprisingly fast bearing in mind the bikes ive had in the past R1s K6 Gixxer 1000 ZX12r, ZX10r fireblades etc I still cant believe how good it goes
normally about december time I start thinking on what bike to buy come Febuary not this year I knew the vfr was a keeper the only thing I did toy with was trading the candy glory red one in for the new white one bit the thought of swapping everything over was not a good one so the red one stayed will be using it again tomorrow and cant wait

all in all I think its an excellent bike well quick enough in the real world with everything needed to raz around tour go to work on and pose LOVE IT
