Oem Side Case Vs Givi V36 Side Case

Just curious.
I have Givi V36 installed on my 6th Gen. It measures appr. 108cm (3ft 7in) wide on bike. It looks bulky.
For those who have OEM Side Case, how wide is it on bike?

I thought they were pretty much the same dimensions, i think the Honda racks just allow them to sit closer to the bike.
