Reading 2007 6th Gen Fuel Injection Ecu Code

Took my vfr out of storage today and the FI light is on.
Dealer says 3 weeks til he will be able to look at it.
So I have plenty of time to putz with this.

Found this and a few other discussions on how to read the code.

These are for older 5th gen bikes.

I've pulled off the plastic and I don't see anything unattached which looks like the service check connector in the tail/under seat, on either side or upfront behind the head lights.

Would anyone want/willing/able to update the technical maintenance forums with the shop manual or instructions for this on the 6th gen?

On the 6th generation bikes there is a 4 pin connector near the regulator. If you pull the socket the threads are black/white, orange/white, green and brown. On it your dealer will connect a handheld computer to read out the Electronic control Module.
I do not know if that handheld computer is available for owners. I would like to own one.

Your description of the
"4 pin connector with the threads black/white, orange/white, green and brown"
is what I saw originally but
I wasn't sure since the 5th gens and prior info shows a white 2 pin connector.

I was just out playing around with it and noticed that if I turn on the ignition,
without any jumper wire,
the FI light appears to be flashing a code.

It looks like a "24";
#2 O2 sensor heater faulty.

Now to find my warranty info.
