Anybody know if pc for an 04-05 will work on an 06-XX are the harness plugs the same.

The only difference I'm aware of is the vtec cut in rpm which has nothing to do with the pc which only does fuel/air but pc site lists different part numbers.

The same thing happened with my CBR1000RR 04 but different listing 06 but works fine & even the 600 works so long as plugs the same.

Yeah, it's works fine. Just download a map for your year. I use the stock map from PC, for my '06. I took the PC off of my '05 after the crash.

The part numbers may be listed different if they come preloaded with a map. Obviously the maps are different.

Soooo...

By extension, if the 02-05 and 06+ Power Commander III are physically and electronically compatible, then the new Power Commander V for the '09 VFR800 should work on ALL previous VTEC bikes, right?

Power Commander V for 2009 VFR800

Right?

Because that would be AWESOME!

Wait, what is the difference or advantage between the PCIII and PC V?

I know for a fact that speedohealers don't interchange for all VTEC's as honda changed the speedo sensor connector (why? dunno') through the years. I would suspect that a major connector like the ecu would NOT change but......

Sorry for adding some noise to the signal.
