I like the black paint on the lower cowl. Bike looks great. Except for the tank bra is like so 90's. :biggrin: Happy riding. I'd like to hear what the exhaust sound like.
I just cleaned and recharged my K&N last weekend. Also washed, detailed and polished the bike. It still looks great but there are a few scratches here and there. Nothing that bothers me much tho.
I'm in my 3rd year of ownership of my '04, and it now has over 30k mi. on it - 26k of that put on by me, myself and I. ;)
:biggrin: Yep, I like it a lot. I painted all the color out of it though. Eventually it'll end up solid flat black...

Sorry Seb, but yes, that's what it WAS. I masked off around the stars and the red line around the helmet. Painted the line flat black and painted the stars w/ the same black metal flake that I used on the lower fairing of the bike. The paint job came out an 8 out of 10, but I did it lazy because from the get go I planned on painting it solid flat black. I'll probably do that in the next week or so.
I was just never a fan of flashy graphics on my helmets. All my gear is black so it will go with any bike I own. But I did feel a little anxious as I first set off with some sandpaper on that beautiful helmet.
