I am trying to remove my centerstand before a trackday this weekend. The right bolt has a serious clearance issue with the header pipe in the way. In addition, I heard something about this bolt being a reverse thread. Is that true? Any tips on easy removal would be much appreciated. I really don't wanna pull the exhaust to do this. Thanks a lot.
I don't think the 6th gen is much different in that area than the 5th gen. I was able to flex the header pipe enough to get the bolt out. It was a tight squeeze but it did come out. Once I got it out I shortened the bolt enough to get it in and out easily. The bolt is more than long enough to hold things when shortened.
I had no problem leaving the centerstand on for track days on my 5th Gen.
The only thing that dragged was the header pipe.
Raising the rear a bit fixed that.

Raising the rear a bit fixed that. :+1: Noticed some of the guys ziptied their passenger pegs, side stand etc. Removal is a bit of a pain. Good luck.
