I need some help with a weird engine problem. So tonight i was making a left turn in to a gas station and my engine cut out and headlights shut off and the gauges started blinking like 4-ways and the engine wouldn't start. It wasn't overheated 215. I had only been riding for 30min at the most. I shut it off for 5 min and turned it back on and it worked just fine. I had the sub harness recall done. Any insight on this problem would be appreciated.

If you have a buzzing sound from behind the dash I would first look at the ground on the blue connector. Even if you do have the recall done, I think I'd still check that first as this seems like the exact symptoms the Dutchinterceptor had when his ground went south. He has a video of his bike somewhere, I'll see if I can find it.
I'm pretty sure i didn't hear a buzzing noise but i'll double check in the morning. I'm thinking i'm gonna need to take it back in and have them reinspect the sub harness and the main harness
I've had the same problem, you need to bypass the yellow block earth connector then beef up your wires around the 30amp fuse under the seat, worked for me thanks to VFRD :fing02:
well it just happened again today on the freeway in rush hour    temp was at 210. It would fire but dies unless i hold the starter switch i'm gonna take it in to the shop tomorrow
