A friend of mine bought Skuuter Trash's RWB and wants to get the white bags. I tried talking him into these blue ones for $500, but he just won't do it. Does David Silver Spares offer different colors at different times?? I thought last time I looked there they had black ones.

Yeah, their inventory varies. Right now, looks like all they have are the blue ones. The first set I bought was silver, then a year or so later I bought the matching R258 red ones. Tell him to check back every couple weeks.

Yeah I saw those too. I also thought that someone or multiple someones had said the color on the David Spares items did not match exactly either. Could find in the search though.

Is the red you are looking for a match to the red that is on your RWB? I compared the 06 white to the RWB white and it was an almost exact match. Close enough that you cannot tell they are "different" when the bags are on the bike. I think it could look really good if the reds match.

:+1: on david silver spares. I bought the red R258 ones too. I will be painting them though (no, Timmy, not matt uranium flat black).

I agree. If the reds are very close it will be schweet. Never seen red bags on a RWB, but I bet it is cooler that grandmas undies.

My gut feel is that the red on the RWB isn't that close to the candy red. I just checked the sticker under my seat and it shows two values:

Color: R-101C-U
Code: R101

But the real reason I'm replying is because I bought my Sargent seat from the guy selling the saddlebags. The seat was exactly as advertised, he shipped quickly, and didn't even want payment until I'd received the seat and had a chance to inspect it. Speaking for myself, it was a very pleasant transaction.

Perfect, thanks for the 07 Red color code. Unfortunately, I'm not in place to be looking at the codes on my own bike at the moment. Is there a color code for the stripe in the RWB? Is the RWB color designation followed by three color codes?
