I think I need a new AC Generator. My 03 is experiencing a problem that discharges my battery. After reading the posts, it sounds like the recall issue. I took the bike in for the wiring harness fix last year.
Sitting in traffic, the bike died and would not start. I had to kick it off to get started again and keep the revs up to avoid another stall.
Anyone ever do this repair themselves? Any idea how much the part costs?
