I have an 06 that I have recently notice vibration around 8k to redline. It seems to come up through the seat at the front. I don't remember the vibration in the past unless I missed it.
No vibration until then. On interstate it is perfectly smooth.
I pulled the seat today and checked some basics. I did notice the fastener was missing on the cover to where the ABS sets. My bike is a non ABS model. I didn't really notice any improvementm
Anyone else notice this?

My first guess would be some links in your chain begining to kink

I am having the same issue with my bike. I did just change the chain and sprockets about 500 miles ago. I went down and checked the master link after reading this and it seems fine. I also looked over the rest of the chain and it seems ok.
