So i just got back from the first 2-up ride with the wife and all went well except near the then I noticed that I wasnt getting a turn signal indication on the dash. Once home in the garage a quickcheck revealed that indeed while I had front running lights when I flicked on the turn signal the bulb just went dark. No signals front or rear, all other lighting seems fine.

Suggestions as to what to look at ???

Check fuse first, but I think the turn signals are on a fuse with a bunch of other stuff you would have noticed. Next, check the turn signal relay, IIRC, it is under the front fairing.

Well I had a quick look before heading out to dinner with the wife and its worse than I thought ... last weekend I completed a new mod I didnt even have time to take pictures and boast about yet. I made a small bank of red LEDs that ran directly under my license plate as an additional brake light for rear visibility. I was very proud of my handiwork and it worked like a charm, day or night. However the clearance between the tire and the lights was not enough (or my suspension needs tweaking) and a big bump today bent half of the plate back under the tail and tore apart my new lights. Now I am not yet sure how this coincides with the loss of turn signals but I will ahve to see tomorow. Sadly I had a nice Mount Baker day trip planned with a buddy and this might kill the trip !

It was a fuse ... DAMNED Honda doesnt mention anywhere in the manual where the fuse block is ... took me WAAAY too long to find it.
