Thanks to everyone for all the input on how much I should ask for my VFR. I have a person looking at the bike with out the factory bags. What does anybody think my factory 3 piece silver bag set is worth?

This is even harder to answer than the bike value. They are worth what someone else is willing to pay for them. I would guess $600-$1000 as if you have all the brackets working. Your best bet to sell them is on here.
To answer the other post, yes, it is worth it to sell them separately because then you're helping out another VFRD user as well !

Can't help you on the top box, but I've seen used OEM bags for sale here for $400-$600. I paid $600 (plus shipping) for my still-new-in-the-box bags via ebay two years ago.
